Nestled in a picturesque valley among the gentle slopes of the Cserhát, in the tiny village of Terény, the Liliána Guesthouse - composed of several independent Palóc-style houses awaits its visitors.
Terény is a village tucked away in the valley of the Szanda Stream, where many well-preserved houses built in the traditional Nógrád peasant style are still lived in today. The village is home to several museums and exhibition sites, and it is also a popular destination for hikers, as the National Blue Trail passes through it.
The Liliána Guesthouses are fully independent, protected Palóc houses, built over 100 years ago using traditional adobe techniques, each with its own courtyard, garden, and parking space. During their renovation, our goal was not necessarily to create maximum luxury and comfort, but to preserve their traditional features and offer a glimpse into the way of life of our ancestors."
We have strived to create all of this - adding just a touch of comfort while maintaining balance - to meet today’s basic expectations and needs for a wonderful stay, a bit of wellness, and active relaxation.
